We are a Brazilian translation agency founded in 1985. We provide translation from/to English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Our services target companies that have operations in different countries and need to communicate with their markets in a standardized way, generating—in different languages—one single image and one single client experience. Typically, our clients are companies based in the USA or Europe that operate in Latin America, as well as companies based in Brazil that export their products or services.

The above mentioned companies are examples of our direct clients. We also provide translation services for hundreds of companies around the world through the translation agencies we have partnerships with. As we have confidentiality agreements with many of those agencies, we do not list any of those indirect clients here.
For global technology companies (operating in areas such as IT, telephony, medical equipment, mechanics, etc.) who have marketing efforts specifically targeting Latin America, we work as service vendors for the marketing department, translating all corporate communications into Portuguese or Spanish in order to assure high-level communications between the company and its Latin American markets. One of our clients that fits this profile is HP, now broken down into three different organizations, for whom we have been providing translation in high volumes (hundreds of translation jobs monthly) since 1985. For these clients, we provide world-class quality at Latin American prices.
Brazilian companies providing cutting edge products (in areas such as telephony, IT or services) who export their products or services to other Latin America countries, to the USA, or to Europe. These companies create their materials in Portuguese and need them translated into Spanish or English, with high-quality text and perfect formatting. As these materials have a central role in establishing the company’s image abroad, these clients don’t see translation costs as a simple operational cost, but as an investment, crucial for their marketing programs. For these clients, we provide the assurance that the quality of their communications will be compatible with the global market.
In addition, we work with multilingual translation agencies based in the USA or Europe who have vendors in different countries, providing translation into their specific languages. We partner with dozens of agencies, providing them with translation into Portuguese or Spanish. Most of them don’t need to ask us about our availability for a certain job. They just send us the job stating the turnaround time knowing that they will receive it by the required due date. For these clients, we provide the assurance that their jobs will be done within the given turnaround time, with high quality.
A Dependable Partner for Multilingual Agencies Learn more >
During the decade of the 1980s, Brazil imposed a total restriction on imports in the computer market, which gave rise to a domestic industry in this area. Responding to the industry’s demand for technical writers, our company, the brain child of an electrical engineer and a systems analyst, was founded to provide the services of creating user manuals for information technology products.
One day, I was at the print shop to deal with the printing of a manual, and the manager said to me:
− Our shop prints the manuals for HP calculators. They asked me if we could also translate these manuals. Do you guys do that?
Learn more >In 2015, our translation agency received a call from Khomp, a Brazilian company that produces and exports telecommunication equipment and software (khomp.com.br). At that time, they were seeking a solution for translating their marketing materials and technical manuals, written in Portuguese, into English and Spanish. Being a technology company, the solution had to offer a high level of technical quality in translation. In addition, the solution had to offer a competitive cost for the company whose rivals are in China.
Learn more >In April of 2006, our translation agency was approached by Vagas, a Brazilian company that operates a site offering employment and career services (vagas.com). I had met the company’s founder sometime around 1985 when we both worked at a Brazilian factory that assembled computers, and I knew that he was a professional deeply interested in technology and dedicated to quality. For this reason, I went to the meeting fully prepared for some type of challenge.
Learn more >Our partnerships with multilingual translation agencies and cutting edge companies such as HP require that we be permanently up-to-date in terms of tools and processes. For that reason, we are always able to offer our clients the most advanced and effective technological resources. Below we have listed the most relevant of these resources, which allow us to improve the quality of our services while reducing costs:
All our translation processes are performed using the SDL Studio tool, which is a translation memory system. With this system, we are able to create and store a database of all sentences translated for each client. Upon receiving a new job, we run an analysis of the files against the company’s translation database, detecting any repeated texts. In the case of repetition, there is a discount applied to the price. This process represents a significant advantage for clients who send us successive versions of websites, or marketing or technical materials, for the price of the translation of each new version is discounted as a function of the past work stored in the database.
Today, documents with sophisticated formats, such as marketing brochures, are delivered to the market in publication formats such as PDF or on-line environments. However, they are created in other formats, such as Indesign or HTML. Within the creative environment these files are generically called source files. We have software tools which allow us to translate the source files directly, delivering the document in its final format, in an extremely short time. For example, a sophisticated marketing document created in Indesign can be translated and delivered ready to use in two days.
We have software know-how that allows us to translate software directly in the code files, eliminating the steps of cutting/pasting strings from the software screens and back to the code files. This way, the software is running immediately after translation, without any additional work.
One of the most relevant problems in the translation area is the lack of consistent terminology, made worse by the increasingly shorter times translators have to perform their task. To assure consistency across all projects of each individual client, we use an on-line glossary tool.
We have software tools to perform a final checking step on translated files, detecting problems such as errors in numbers, inconsistencies, formatting differences, etc. This quick software operation results in a significant improvement in the final quality of the service.
